As we wrap up pride month…this is not a judgement on these two women and anything they might have gone through, purely a cultural analysis. It is WRONG that we are allowing children to permanently alter their bodies with hormone therapy and that we are so passively allowing sex-change surgeries as if it’s as reversible as dying your hair. Yes, gender dysphoria is a very real phenomenon for some, but for many the new sexual revolution is nothing more than a social contagion or a way of coping with trauma. We are all supposed to go along with this charade of people changing their pronouns and sexuality as often as they change their nail polish instead of advising them to get the mental health support they need.

History shows that promiscuity and rampant homosexuality precedes the fall of empires, namely the Roman Empire. It even set the stage for H*tler’s rise to power (Weimar Republic). Whether you believe in God or not, there is an order to nature that cannot be denied. Freedom comes with embracing that truth.

Since Trump announced his run I’ve been saying that unless he gives this country back to the people and dismantles parts of the government, his presidency will be useless. I faced a lot of flack for that. But here we are getting even bigger government and moving closer to a surveillance state on day 2 of his presidency. This is the part where you hold his feet to the fire and make sure he knows this is NOT what we voted for.

It has the 5th largest economy in the world and has rich history of agriculture, innovation and the frontier spirit. California starts trends and exports pop culture to the rest of the world. The geographical diversity is stunning - from the redwoods, to the coast, the dunes and deserts. The people often get a bad rep, but true Californians are some of the coolest people you’ll ever meet. They’re laid back, down to earth, friendly and charged up by that gorgeous California sunshine. We also have more republicans than every other state (by number, not rate). California’s worth fighting for. I don’t know how long I’ll be here but I’m so happy to be back, fighting for the land I love.
